The Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization providing services for our members and the Lawrence Community. We believe by strengthening our community, our Lawrence businesses will prosper. Who we are Since 1984, the Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce has grown both in size and mission. It is our goal to promote commerce among Chamber Members, to businesses and the community. Our mission is to provide information, connections, advocacy and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Chamber board members and staff positively and proactively promote commerce among members to area businesses and to the community at large. The return is a positive impact to Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce members as well as the community's reputation as a great place to live, work, and play. What we do The Chamber provides a variety of services to members including monthly business breakfasts, business after hours, power networking events, and an annual golf outing. The Chamber partners with the Lawrence community by representing members at festivals, sports tournaments, educational events, and area fundraisers. In addition the Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce provides direct services to members including regular communications such as a monthly newsletter, e-mail bulletins, a comprehensive Web site with community links, member marketing opportunities and member recognition.
