The Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce hosts many events throughout the year including the Annual Golf Outing and SuperBowl as well as a State of the City Breakfast which features the Mayor of Lawrence. We also have an Annual Members Luncheon with an awards ceremony and a speaker as well as other seminars to help develop networking skills, and how to make the most of your membership. We most recently added a quarterly business and financial series that will have an expert speak on different ways to save time and money and learn new ways to create loyalty and also reward options in the workplace. Annual Members Holiday Party

Every Holiday Season, we want to say THANK YOU to our Members by having a party. Join us for appetizers and beverages along with great conversation and networking! Meet new people and get ready for the new year!
This year is also our 2nd Annual Bike-A-Thon event! Rob Jackson, President of Magnovo Training Group will lead our teams to build a bicycle for a deserving Lawrence Township child. We want to thank Walmart, Old National and Sidelines for helping make this event happen. We also want to thank Tom Ashcraft, Lawrence Police Officer and FOP Lodge 159 President, for working with the Lawrence Township Schools to help identify the children. We will present 20 bikes to the kids that night! So come out early to join a team (or bring your own team!) and help, not only reconnect with old friends or make new ones, but more importantly, help make a child’s night a little brighter!! Golf Outing
Date: Thursday, June 17, 2010
Location: Winding Ridge Golf Club
Time: 10:00 a.m. registration, 11:00 a.m. shot gun start
The Golf Outing is the largest fund raiser for the chamber with proceeds going directly to the administrative costs of running an active community chamber. The Lawrence Chamber does other fundraisers throughout the year; however, these events benefit Lawrence Township schools and various community groups. There are fun and unique sponsorship opportunities available including hole signs, putter partnership, food, games/events at the holes, and the beverage cart.
