Business After Hours The Business After Hours event is designed to be a more relaxed social environment with a great opportunity to network with business people from diverse backgrounds and learn about "the happenings" in Lawrence. The event is free of charge, but you must RSVP with the Chamber Office at 541-9876. The event will start at 5:00pm and end at 7:00pm. .... so bring plenty of business cards to share! Business Breakfasts Chamber Business Breakfasts are wonderful opportunities to network with business owners and residents from the Lawrence area. Business Breakfasts typically include a featured speaker and/or networking. The breakfast starts promptly at 7:30 a.m. and end within an hour. Netting the Business Netting the Business is a power networking event designed to help members meet other members-quickly. The goal is to promote business-to-business commerce among members, and it works! Netting the Business starts promptly at 7:15 a.m. and ends at 8:45 a.m. RSVPs are required. Bring a lot of business cards. Annual Golf Outing The Golf Outing is the only fund raiser for the chamber with proceeds going directly to the administrative costs of running an active community chamber. The Lawrence Chamber does other fundraisers throughout the year; however, these events benefit Lawrence Township schools and various community groups. Foursomes are $600 or $150 per player, and sponsorship opportunities are available for hole sponsorships, signage, meals, and the beverage cart.
